Football Game Preview: Central Bobcats vs. South Mountain Jaguars

The Central Bobcats will head out on the road to take on the South Mountain Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Central hasn't scored more than 12 points for six games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.

Central managed to slip by North the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bobcats came up short against the Mustangs on Thursday, falling 21-0.

Meanwhile, South Mountain played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by Camelback and fell 59-6. The Jaguars haven't had much luck with the Spartans recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

South Mountain's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Central, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 0-6.

Central couldn't quite get it done against South Mountain in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 as they fell 12-0. Can the Bobcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
