Soccer Game Preview: Roosevelt vs. Kalani

The Roosevelt Rough Riders will face off against the Kalani Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Roosevelt's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Roosevelt is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Hawaii's top teams: Moanalua, who was ranked tenth at the time (Roosevelt was ranked 21st). Roosevelt came up short against Moanalua on Saturday, falling 9-0.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Kalani, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They never let Kahuku onto the board and left with a 2-0 victory on Saturday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Falcons as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Roosevelt's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Kalani, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.
