It's playoff time, and Calhoun had no trouble coming through when it counted. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Dawson County Tigers on Saturday. Winning may never get old, but the Yellow Jackets sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Calhoun was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-14, 25-21.

Chloe Edens had an outrageously good game as she had 14 digs and nine aces.

Edens wasn't the only good servers: Calhoun was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in six consecutive matchups.

Calhoun's victory bumped their record up to 34-9. As for Dawson County, they dropped their record down to 22-17 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Calhoun will host Oconee County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Dawson County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
