Nettleton had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 7-3 victory over the Alcorn Central Bears on Thursday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.

Nettleton's win bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Alcorn Central, they moved to 11-8 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Nettleton Tigers take on Baldwyn Bearcats at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Alcorn Central, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Walnut at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
