Volleyball Recap: Carman-Ainsworth Cavaliers vs. Davison Cardinals

Carman-Ainsworth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Davison Cardinals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 11th.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-6, 25-8.

Davison was led to victory by Adelynn Wilcox and Berklee Stimson. Wilcox had seven digs and four aces, while Stimson had ten aces and three digs. Stimson has been hot, having also posted 12 or more assists the last six times she's played.

Carman-Ainsworth's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Davison, the win (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 15-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Carman-Ainsworth is set to take on their familiar foe Powers Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Davison will challenge rival Lapeer at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
