Softball Recap: Leon Comes Up Short

After flying high against Rickards on Tuesday, Leon came back down to earth. The Lions lost 10-0 to the Lincoln Trojans on Thursday. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Lions were not able to get on the board.

Leon's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Lincoln, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Leon will face off against Godby at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Lions' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cougars have averaged an impressive 8.1 runs per game this season. As for Lincoln, they are taking a road trip to face off against North Florida Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
