Oak Forest found their leader in sophomore Caleb Perez, who had 24 digs and two assists. Those 24 digs set a new season-high mark for Perez.

Oak Forest is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-12 record this season. As for Proviso East, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-7.

Oak Forest has already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Ridgewood on the 3rd. As for Proviso East, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Prosser on the 3rd.
