Soccer Recap: Epiphany Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Epiphany and Harrells Christian Academy squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Epiphany had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Crusaders by a score of 2-1. The game was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Epiphany couldn't quite close it out.

Epiphany's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-8-1. As for Harrells Christian Academy, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 12-6-1.

Epiphany does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Harrells Christian Academy, they will venture away from home to challenge Greenfield at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Harrells Christian Academy's defense better be ready for this one: Greenfield have averaged an impressive 3.4 goals per game this season.
