Basketball Recap: Life Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Life Christian Academy lost against CSTHEA back in December of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Life Christian Academy Lions fell 56-48 to the CSTHEA Patriots.

Ivan Huffman went supernova for CSTHEA, going 8 of 18 on his way to 21 points in addition to six assists and six boards. The dominant performance gave Huffman a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Swanson, who went 5 for 7 en route to 11 points and eight rebounds.

Life Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for CSTHEA, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Rocket City the next time they take the court. CSTHEA will head out to face Rocket City at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Life Christian Academy will head out to face them at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
