The Vanguard School extended their home winning streak to four games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Ainsley Anderson. The Coursers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Rocky Ford Meloneers on Thursday with plenty of help from Anderson, who had 18 assists and seven aces. She has been hot, having posted 12 or more assists the last eight times she's played.

The Vanguard School's got stronger as the match went on, holding Rocky Ford to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-15, 25-6.

The Vanguard School's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Rocky Ford, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, The Vanguard School will be playing at home against Widefield at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. After both having extra time off, Rocky Ford and Fowler will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
