Basketball Game Preview: Waconia Wildcats vs. Hopkins Royals

Waconia hasn't had much luck against Hopkins recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Waconia Wildcats will host the Hopkins Royals at 7:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Waconia is headed into Wednesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Saturday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 89-75 to Prior Lake, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Hopkins' win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-0. As for Waconia, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.
