Basketball Recap: Stuart Hall Takes a Loss

The Stuart Hall Knights were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 58-53 to the Gateway Gators.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Gateway to victory, but perhaps none more so than Wyatt Grundland-Lanuza, who went 6-for-12 en route to 15 points. Grundland-Lanuza's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Armando Sarte Jr, who shot 56% from the field to rack up 13 points.

Stuart Hall's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Gateway, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5.

Stuart Hall and Terra Nova will compete for holiday cheer at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Gateway, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, an 85-50 loss against Lincoln on the 19th.
