Recap: Shiloh Generals vs. Gainesville Red Elephants
The Shiloh Generals stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They blew past Gainesville 68-43. The win was familiar territory for Shiloh who now have six in a row.
Shiloh was led to victory by Tylis Jordan and Jullien Cole. Jordan scored 23 points along with nine rebounds and two blocks, while Cole scored 24 points along with eight rebounds. Jordan has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last six times he's played. Caden Mitchell was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Shiloh's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.4 points per game. As for Gainesville, their loss dropped their record down to 6-13.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shiloh won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Parkview at 4:00 p.m. on January 20th. Parkview is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak. As for Gainesville, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Habersham Central at 8:30 p.m.
