Baseball Recap: Chequamegon Wins Going Away Against Washburn

Chequamegon had lost three games straight , but after bumping their record up to 8-8 on Monday that streak is in the rearview. They were the clear victors by a 17-6 margin over the Washburn Castle Guards. The Screaming Eagles' offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last three games.

As for Washburn, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss they have suffered against Chequamegon since April 28, 2018.

For Washburn's part, Henry Means was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Tyler Lind, who earned one run and two stolen bases.
