Softball Preview: Chaska Hawks vs. Shakopee Sabers
Chaska is 1-8 against Shakopee since May of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Hawks will head out to challenge the Sabers at 6:00 p.m.
On Wednesday, Chaska didn't have quite enough to beat St. Louis Park and fell 6-5. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Chaska saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Laney Farm, who went 1-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Meanwhile, Shakopee had to endure a ten-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Burnsville on Thursday, sneaking past 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Sabers have posted since April 11th.
Shakopee's victory bumped their record up to 3-11. As for Chaska, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-12.
