Volleyball Recap: West Branch Warriors vs. Buckeye Bucks

West Branch had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Buckeye Bucks on Wednesday as the West Branch Warriors made off with a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

One reason for the win was West Branch's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-20, 25-13.

Kendelle Hoopes paced West Branch's offense, picking up ten kills. Hoopes got some help from Isabel Martig and her 13 assists. Ragan Greeneisen controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

West Branch's victory bumped their record up to 17-7. As for Buckeye, they moved to 11-9 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

West Branch has already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Norton on the 26th. Buckeye does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
