Clear Springs has gone 9-1 against Dickinson recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Chargers will challenge the Gators at 6:45 p.m. Clear Springs is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.

On Tuesday, Clear Springs beat Clear Falls 6-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Chargers.

The team relied heavily on Eryn Polite, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. Brynley Colianni was another key player, going 1-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.

Meanwhile, Dickinson fell victim to Brazoswood and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Buccaneers. The Gators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bailey Barber spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on nine hits and racked up 14 Ks. She has been consistent : she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.

Dickinson's defeat dropped their record down to 7-20. As for Clear Springs, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-5.

Clear Springs was able to grind out a solid victory over Dickinson in their previous matchup back in March, winning 8-5. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Chargers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
