Softball Recap: Wharton Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Wharton's offense. They fell 5-0 to the Bay City Blackcats on Tuesday. The Tigers' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Wharton's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Bay City, their victory bumped their record up to 8-13.

Wharton will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Brazosport at 5:00 p.m. on the 15th. As for Bay City, they will take on Needville at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Bluejays will roll in looking for their 14th straight win, something the Blackcats surely won't give up without a fight.
