Volleyball Recap: Gray Stone Day Finds Playoff Glory Versus Corvian Community + How To Watch

It's playoff time, and Gray Stone Day had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Corvian Community Cardinals on Saturday.

Gray Stone Day walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The final score came out to 25-20, 25-22, 23-25, 25-15.

Gray Stone Day found their leader in sophomore Addi Lyerly, who had eight digs and three aces. Jordan Baker also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Gray Stone Day was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in four consecutive matchups.

Gray Stone Day pushed their record up to 13-12 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Corvian Community, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 14 of their last 15 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season.
