Basketball Recap: Blake Peterson Key Part of Team Effort in Badgers Win

There's no place like home for Wayne, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They came out on top against the Bryce Valley Mustangs by a score of 47-38 on Saturday. The Badgers haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Wayne's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Blake Peterson, who almost dropped a double-double with 22 points and nine rebounds. Peterson has become a key player for Wayne: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least eight boards, but 6-13 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Hunter Robins, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 17 rebounds.

Despite the loss, Bryce Valley still got an impressive performance from Antonio Moreno, who posted nine points. Those nine points gave Moreno a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Luke Andrus, who scored five points and five steals.

Wayne's record is now 8-14. As for Bryce Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 10-14 record this season.

As of now, neither Wayne nor Bryce Valley have any future games scheduled.
