Recap: Arcata Tigers vs. Enterprise Hornets
The Arcata Tigers won the last time they faced the Enterprise Hornets, and things went their way on Friday too. Arcata walked away with a 55-45 win over Enterprise. The win made it back-to-back wins for Arcata.
Luke Moxon was his usual excellent self, scoring 20 points along with four steals. The match was his fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dawson Vallerga, who scored 12 points.
Despite the loss, Enterprise still got an impressive performance from Alijah Collins, who scored 21 points. Those 21 points set a new season-high mark for him. Wes Ramirez was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five rebounds.
Arcata's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.8 points per game. As for Enterprise, their loss dropped their record down to 5-2.
Arcata and Montgomery will face off at 2:30 p.m. on December 9th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Montgomery presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Arcata in California (Montgomery is ranked 31st, while Arcata is ranked 420th).
