With a playoff win on the line, Fowler rose to the challenge on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Byers Bulldogs, sneaking past 3-2. The victory continues a trend for the Grizzlies in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won seven in a row.

Jaslyn Bates paced Fowler's offense, picking up 16 kills. Bates got some help from Syriah Alvarez and her 24 assists. Alvarez was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Despite the loss, Byers still got an impressive performance from Kiera Egloff, who had nine digs and one assist.

Fowler's win bumped their record up to 15-9. As for Byers, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-15.

Fowler has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Wiggins on the 7th. Byers does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
