Preview: St. Elizabeth Vikings vs. Tower Hill Hillers
The St. Elizabeth Vikings will finish 2023 at home by hosting the Tower Hill Hillers at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in St. Elizabeth's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
Last Thursday, St. Elizabeth faced St. Georges Tech in a battle between two of the state's top teams. It was close, but St. Elizabeth ultimately received the gift of a 59-56 win from a begrudging Vikingssquad. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Meanwhile, Tower Hill came up short against Mount Pleasant on December 5th and fell 45-33.
St. Elizabeth's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Tower Hill, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 1-1.
St. Elizabeth barely slipped by Tower Hill in their previous matchup back in March of 2020, winning 55-54. Does St. Elizabeth have another victory up their sleeve, or will Tower Hill turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
