Volleyball Game Preview: Winnisquam Bears vs. Gilford Golden Eagles

Winnisquam hasn't had much luck against Gilford recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Bears will welcome the Golden Eagles at 5:45 p.m. Winnisquam is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.

On Friday, Winnisquam was able to grind out a solid victory over Fall Mountain, taking the game 3-1.

Meanwhile, Gilford faced Kingswood in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Golden Eagles fell 3-1 to the Knights. It was the first time this season that the Golden Eagles let down their fans at home.

Gilford's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Winnisquam, their win bumped their record up to 4-6.
