North Kingstown has gone 9-1 against Cranston East recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Skippers will square off against the Thunderbolts at 6:30 p.m. North Kingstown will come into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.

Last Tuesday, North Kingstown made easy work of Classical and carried off a 3-0 victory.

North Kingstown never let Classical on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-23, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Cranston East faced East Providence in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Thunderbolts walked away with a 3-1 win over the Townies.

North Kingstown's victory was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0. As for Cranston East, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

North Kingstown was able to grind out a solid win over Cranston East in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Skippers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
