Marion hasn't lost a match since April 11th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Friday. They never let the Grinnell Tigers get on the board and left with an 8-0 win. The result was nothing new for Marion, who have now won eight contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Marion pushed their record up to 9-2-5 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 31 goals over those five games. As for Grinnell, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marion will head out to square off against West Delaware at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Marion will be up against West Delaware's rather soft defense (which has allowed 5.87 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Grinnell, they will challenge Solon at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
