Volleyball Recap: Lansing Christian Comes Up Short

After flying high against Sexton on Monday, Lansing Christian came back down to earth. The Pilgrims took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dansville Aggies on Wednesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Pilgrims in their meetings with the Aggies: they've now lost five in a row.

Lansing Christian started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 29-27, 25-21, 25-14.

Lansing Christian now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Dansville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-9-4.

After both having extra time off, Lansing Christian and Bath will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Dansville, they will be taking part in a tournament against Ubly at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
