Football Preview: Defiance Bulldogs vs. Kenton Wildcats
Defiance has been on the road for two straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will welcome the Kenton Wildcats at 7:00 a.m. Defiance will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each match than the last.
Defiance is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 43-7 win over Shawnee on the road. With the Bulldogs ahead 36-7 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Defiance's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Noah Gomez, who rushed for 69 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 68 yards and a touchdown. The dominant performance gave Gomez a new career-high in rushing yards. Another player making a difference was Anthony Wilder, who rushed for 118 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries.

Defiance now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Kenton, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
