Volleyball Game Preview: Blessed Trinity Titans vs. Centennial Knights + How To Watch

The Blessed Trinity Titans will square off against the Centennial Knights at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Blessed Trinity is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Georgia's top teams: Walton, who was ranked fifth at the time (Blessed Trinity was ranked third). The Titans fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Titans' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Blessed Trinity sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 26-24, 20-25, 15-10.

Blessed Trinity's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Ruby McDermott, who had ten digs and one assist, and Felicia Torrico, who had six digs and two aces.

Meanwhile, Centennial came up short against Norcross on Tuesday and fell 2-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-14.

Centennial's defeat dropped their record down to 11-17. As for Blessed Trinity, their loss dropped their record down to 30-10.

Blessed Trinity took their victory against Centennial in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Titans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Knights turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
