Hammond Bishop Noll dropped their record down to 13-7 on Monday, which also ended the team's eight-game streak of wins. They lost 10-3 to the Illiana Christian Vikings. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Warriors have suffered since April 12th.

As for Illiana Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season. Considering they have won 11 games by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

For Illiana Christian's part, they got a massive performance out of Jake Scott, who went 3-for-5 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Those three hits gave Scott a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ayden VanKuiken, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

While Hammond Bishop Noll had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
