Basketball Recap: Troy Takes a Loss

Troy lost against Kendrick back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Troy Trojans had to suffer through a 75-16 loss at the hands of the Kendrick Tigers. The game marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Troy has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season. As for Kendrick, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Troy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Genesee at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Kendrick, they will also get right back to it: they'll take on Lapwai at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Kendrick knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Lapwai likes a good challenge.
