Softball Recap: Lincoln Lancers vs. Alameda Pirates
Lincoln was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 30th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 16-0 to the Alameda Pirates. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lancers of the 17-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September.
Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Alameda, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-8.
Lincoln didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 23-2 defeat vs. Kennedy on the 1st. Alameda has also already played their next matchup, a 13-0 loss against Centaurus on the 1st.
