Basketball Game Preview: Animas Panthers vs. Reserve Mountaineers

The Animas Panthers are taking a road trip to square off against the Reserve Mountaineers at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Animas is looking for their season's first victory.

Last Thursday, Animas had to suffer through a 64-29 loss at the hands of Quemado.

Meanwhile, Reserve took a blow against Cliff on Thursday, falling 71-40. The Mountaineers have struggled against the Cowboys/Cowgirls recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Animas' defeat dropped their record down to 0-23. As for Reserve, their loss dropped their record down to 5-17.

Animas came up short against Reserve in their previous meeting last Saturday, falling 47-40. Can Animas avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
