Floyd Central's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Paintsville Tigers as the Floyd Central Jaguars made off with a 10-0 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what the Jaguars needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

Whitley Hall made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over seven innings pitched. Hall was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, Reagan Laferty was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Cadyn Roberson, who scored three runs while going 2-for-4.

The win got Floyd Central back to even at 1-1. As for Paintsville, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.

Coming up, Floyd Central is taking a road trip to take on Pike County Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Paintsville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Perry County Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
