Recap: The Christian Academy vs. Renaissance Academy Knights
The Christian Academy took care of business in their home opener on Friday. They walked away with a 54-44 win over Renaissance Academy. For The Christian Academy, this counts as revenge for the 45-35 defeat Renaissance Academy walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2022.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead The Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than SirGuy Epps Jr., who scored 16 points along with 8 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Cam Harrop, who scored 13 points along with 7 rebounds.
The Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Renaissance Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
The Christian Academy will head out on the road to face off against Collegium Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Renaissance Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Valley Forge Military Academy at 7:00 p.m.
