It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Edgewater ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They came out on top against the Ocoee Knights by a score of 9-6. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won three in a row.

Bryson Nicol was excellent, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3. That's the most runs he has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Odanyx Ofarril, who went 1-for-4 with three RBI and one double.

Edgewater's record is now 12-10. As for Ocoee, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-11.

Looking ahead, Ocoee will square off against Colonial at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Edgewater will be paying especially close attention to the Knights' matchup: after the Knights faces off against the Grenadiers, they'll take on Edgewater again at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
