Hope Christian won the last time they faced Del Norte and things went their way on Monday too. The Huskies were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Knights. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Huskies.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Hope Christian took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-7, 25-14.

Hope Christian was led to victory by Sway Baca and Sydney Macias. Baca had 23 assists and three digs, while Macias had five aces and one assist. That's the most aces Macias has posted since back in September of 2024. Avery Padilla also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Hope Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least nine aces in five consecutive matchups.

Hope Christian's record is now 17-6. As for Del Norte, they are on an 18-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-20.

Hope Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Del Norte, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
