Southwest DeKalb's game on Friday was all tied up 7-7 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They were the clear victors by a 27-7 margin over the Druid Hills Red Devils. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by 20 points or more this season.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Southwest DeKalb, bringing their record up to 8-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 41.8 points over those games. As for Druid Hills, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.

Southwest DeKalb will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Jonesboro at 7:30 p.m. on the 14th. The Cardinals' defense has only allowed 13.7 points per game this season, so the Panthers' offense will have their work cut out for them. Druid Hills does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
