Liberty had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Asotin Panthers. The Lancers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

Liberty never let Asotin on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-11, 25-15.

Liberty's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Asotin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Looking ahead, Liberty will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna at 6:30 p.m. As for Asotin, they will head out on the road to square off against Colfax at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
