West Las Vegas is headed into Thursday's contest hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight defeats. They were outmatched by St. Michael's and fell 88-51. The Dons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-23.

Meanwhile, Santa Fe Prep ended up a good deal behind Santa Fe Indian on Tuesday and lost 64-50. The loss continues a trend for the Blue Griffins in their matchups with the Braves: they've now lost eight in a row.

West Las Vegas' defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-7. As for Santa Fe Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 9-8.
