Recap: Westside Rams vs. Greenville Red Raiders
It was a good run, but the Westside Rams unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They were the victim of a rough 74-53 loss at the hands of Greenville. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Westside has suffered since December 20, 2023.
Despite the loss, Westside still got an impressive performance from Joshua Williams, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. Kmajay Jenkins was another key contributor, scoring six points along with eight rebounds and two blocks.
Westside's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-9. As for Greenville, they pushed their record up to 13-3 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Westside will square off against Greenwood at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in South Carolina (Greenwood is ranked 38th, while Westside is ranked 55th). As for Greenville, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Berea at 7:30 p.m.
