Independence was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 29th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 72-60 to the Marion-Franklin Red Devils. One positive for the 76ers, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Independence's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Marion-Franklin, the win snapped their losing streak at 15 games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-6 record.

Independence will be playing at home against Centennial at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Centennial knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully Independence likes a good challenge. As for Marion-Franklin, they will head out on the road to face off against Dublin Scioto at 6:00 p.m. on December 28th.
