Softball Game Preview: Montpelier Locomotives vs. Wauseon Indians

The Montpelier Locomotives are taking a road trip to square off against the Wauseon Indians at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Montpelier is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season.

Montpelier lost 7-1 to Paulding on Thursday. The Locomotives have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Morgan Bechtol made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Wauseon came up short against Wayne Trace on Thursday and fell 11-6.

Wauseon's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Montpelier, their loss dropped their record down to 10-9.
