Bartlett and South Elgin are an even 5-5 against one another since June of 2021, but not for long. The Hawks will welcome the Storm at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Bartlett is headed into the match having just posted their closest win since March 29th on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Huntley 2-1. The Hawks haven't had any issues with the Red Raiders recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Bartlett got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 17-25, 25-16.

Meanwhile, South Elgin narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Streamwood 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Storm.

South Elgin had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-20, 25-16.

Bartlett better focus on containing Brady Melvin and Tyler Aluquin as the pair were huge in South Elgin's win. Melvin had 23 digs and two aces, while Aluquin had 16 assists and five digs. The dominant performance also gave Melvin a new career-high in assists (seven).

South Elgin's victory bumped their record up to 19-11. As for Bartlett, they picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 5-22.
