Basketball Preview: South-Doyle Cherokees vs. Loudon Redskins
After four games on the road, South-Doyle is heading back home. They will take on the Loudon Redskins at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Tuesday, South-Doyle ended up a good deal behind the Green Hornets and lost 49-34.
Meanwhile, Loudon's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight defeat. They took a 52-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of Sweetwater.
South-Doyle has traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for Loudon, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-8.
South-Doyle didn't have too much breathing room in their game against the Redskins when the teams last played back in January, but they still walked away with a 49-45 win. Does South-Doyle have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Redskins turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
