Basketball Recap: Jake Fargher's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Dufur over Mannahouse Christian Academy + How To Watch

Dufur was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 48-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of Mannahouse Christian Academy. The Rangers lost against Mannahouse Christian Academy in their previous head to head back in March, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 64-28 score last time.

Several Rangers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jake Fargher, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Peterson, who posted nine points along with six boards and four steals.

Dufur's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Mannahouse Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dufur will head out to challenge Perrydale at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Rangers will be up against the Pirates' rather soft defense (which has allowed 49.6 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Mannahouse Christian Academy, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Agape Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on January 6, 2026.
