Soccer Game Preview: Lincoln Park Academy vs. Centennial

Lincoln Park Academy is 0-5 against Centennial since November of 2015 but things could change on Friday. The Greyhounds will face off against the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Lincoln Park Academy is headed out to face Centennial after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. The Greyhounds never let John Carroll Catholic get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory on Thursday.

Matias Paytuvi and Jeffrey Mena-Navarro scored both of Lincoln Park Academy's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Meanwhile, Centennial beat Sebastian River 2-0 on Wednesday.

Lincoln Park Academy suffered a grim 5-1 defeat to Centennial in their previous meeting back in January. Can the Greyhounds avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
