Basketball Game Preview: Salisbury Dragons vs. Salisbury Christian

Salisbury is 9-1 against Salisbury Christian since December of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Salisbury Dragons will take on Salisbury Christian at 5:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with 15 consecutive losses dating back to last season for Salisbury and six for Salisbury Christian.

Salisbury is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Delmarva Christian on Thursday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Salisbury was outmatched by Delmarva Christian and fell 72-33. The Dragons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 51-20.

Meanwhile, Salisbury Christian lost to Worcester Prep on the road by a 52-35 margin on Friday.

Salisbury's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Salisbury Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-15.

Everything came up roses for Salisbury against Salisbury Christian when the teams last played back in January of 2024, as the team secured an 83-39 victory. Will Salisbury repeat their success, or does Salisbury Christian have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
