University is 9-1 against Lewis & Clark since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Titans will head out to square off against the Tigers at 4:00 p.m. University will be strutting in after a win while Lewis & Clark will be coming in after a defeat.

University will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any runs on Tuesday, then bounced right back against Ferris on Thursday. The Titans put the hurt on the Saxons with a sharp 17-3 victory. The win continues a trend for the Titans in their matchups with the Saxons: they've now won nine in a row.

Meanwhile, Lewis & Clark was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 10-9 heartbreaker at the hands of Ridgeline. While the Tigers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Falcons 4-0 in the first period.

Rhiannon Kilgore made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Vienna Klein also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Lewis & Clark's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for University, their victory bumped their record up to 11-5.

University came out on top in a nail-biter against Lewis & Clark in their previous matchup on April 1st, sneaking past 7-6. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Titans since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
