Soccer Game Preview: Hope Christian vs. Albuquerque + How To Watch

The Hope Christian Huskies will face off against the Albuquerque Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Hope Christian's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They blew past Valley 10-0. Give Hope Christian's defense some credit: that's the team's sixth straight shutout.

Their offense was hitting Valley from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Brooklyn Fankam led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Albuquerque came tearing into Wednesday's match with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.8 goals), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Jaguars. The score was close at halftime, but Albuquerque pulled away in the second half with two goals.

Albuquerque's victory bumped their record up to 9-6-1. As for Hope Christian, their win bumped their record up to 17-0.

Hope Christian took their victory against Albuquerque when the teams last played back in August of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Huskies repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
